Health and Safety 

Robinson Asphalts has a well-established and successful Health and Safety System, which encompasses all aspects of workplace health and safety including training and induction. This system has attained ACC Tertiary Accreditation since 2003 and has been awarded the Summit Systems 'Safe Site Award' in 2006, achieving an externally audited result of A+.

 All staff undergo extensive induction and training for their tasks. Safety has been adopted as an integral part of everyday work operations. This is reinforced by an ongoing programme of annual health monitoring checks for all employees to ensure their continued wellbeing whilst in the company's employment. Robinson Asphalts currently hold a Whangarei District Council Health and Safety Approved Contractor Certificate. 

Quality and Environmental Compliance Systems  

Robinson Asphalts provides a quality and environmentally sound product first time and as such is extremely proud of its workmanship, service and reputation for providing the best to clients. The company strives for excellence in every aspect of its business. Quality and any issues are managed via a Quality and Environmental Management System which is modelled on the New Zealand Contractors Federation QEST (Quality, Environmental & Safety Integrated Management System). A detailed Project Management Plan is implemented for each project in accordance with contractual requirements.  Any problems which may arise are dealt with and rectified promptly. Your satisfaction as a client is our priority.

Robinson Asphalts were awarded the 'Merit Award' in the National 1994 Caltex Constructions Awards for their performance in the Town Basin Landscape Works contract for the Whangarei District Council.
